Job summary

Jobgether is partnering to hire a senior Linux Platform Engineer in the United Arab Emirates for an enterprise-scale role. You will own OS lifecycle, patching, and modernization across on-prem and cloud, shaping strategy and automation with IaC, while leading critical incident response and platform reliability efforts.

The ideal candidate has 8–10+ years in enterprise Linux, strong SUSE/RHEL expertise, deep automation experience, and proficiency in VMware, cloud, and observability tools.

Qualifications

This role requires a senior Linux platform engineer with enterprise experience.
Expertise in SUSE and RHEL across large deployments is essential.
Strong scripting in Bash and Python; Perl is a plus.

Responsibilities

Own enterprise Linux platform roadmap, lifecycle management, and modernization.
Define engineering standards, build patterns, and reliability processes.
Lead automation via IaC across on-prem and cloud environments.
Mentor engineers and drive platform engineering maturity across the org.
