Job summary

EDGE in Abu Dhabi seeks a Land Test Team Lead to plan, design and lead complex land-based test and evaluation activities at Abu Al Abyad Test Range and other sites. You will oversee arena testing, static rocket and engine testing, insensitive ammunition qualification testing, mine resistance testing, and related programs, ensuring safety and alignment with customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Must lead technical teams of engineers and technicians.
• Experience planning and executing defence/test programmes.
• Strong knowledge of explosives, munitions, weapon systems, and testing methodologies.
• Proven ability to design test setups and analyze data.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, design and execution of land test activities (arena testing, static rocket/engine tests, ammunition qualification, mine resistance).
• Collaborate with clients to define test requirements and configurations.
• Develop verification plans, procedures and technical documentation.
• Oversee test engineers and technicians during preparation and execution.
• Ensure data is captured, validated and reported per requirements.
• Mentor engineers to strengthen technical capability across the team.
