Job summary

AECOM Middle East Limited Abu Dhabi is seeking a Principal ITS Engineer to lead the technical delivery of Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITS) and Traffic Control Systems (TCS) projects in Abu Dhabi and across the GCC. The role requires strong hands-on ITS design experience, coordination with authorities and multidisciplinary teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Civil, ICT, Electrical/Electronics or Telecommunications Engineering.
12–15 years of relevant ITS and TCS design experience.
Experience delivering ITS projects in UAE and GCC region.
Current ITC Abu Dhabi – ITS Approved Engineer / SANAD certification mandatory.

Responsibilities

Lead ITS and TCS design across concept, schematic, detailed design, tender and IFC stages.
Lead, guide and supervise ITS Engineers and CAD/BIM resources.
Ensure designs are complete, coordinated and compliant with project and authority requirements.
Coordinate ITS with Roads, Traffic, Street Lighting, Electrical, Utilities, ICT/Telecom and other disciplines.
Prepare and review ITS drawings, specifications, design reports, BOQs and tender documentation.
