Qualifications

• MBBS or equivalent degree from a recognized medical school.
• Postgraduate qualification such as MD, MS or DNB is generally required.
• 3–7 years of post-specialty clinical experience in a multidisciplinary setting.
• Eligibility for DOH license in Abu Dhabi including PSV and DOH exam.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise the delivery of high-quality, evidence-based care within the specialty.
• Conduct patient examinations, take histories, order tests, and develop treatment plans.
• Lead ward rounds and manage inpatient and outpatient cases.
• Oversee junior medical staff and participate in training and supervision.
• Collaborate with other specialties and participate in multi-disciplinary meetings.
• Provide on-call coverage on a rotational basis.
• Document clinical information accurately and ensure compliance with DOH policies.
• Engage in quality improvement and risk management to improve patient outcomes.
