Job summary

Tanqeeb is seeking an Interface Engineer for a contract role in the oil and gas sector. You will manage interfaces between systems, equipment, and disciplines, ensuring alignment with standards and project requirements.

You will develop ICDs, coordinate activities with engineering teams, vendors, and contractors, and support design reviews, testing, and commissioning to ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrumentation, or related field).
• Minimum 10 years experience as an Interface Engineer or similar role within the oil and gas industry.
• Strong knowledge of oil and gas systems, equipment, and industry standards.
• Proven ability to manage complex interfaces across multiple disciplines.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration.
• Willingness to travel and work at project sites as required.

Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate interfaces between various systems, equipment, and disciplines within oil and gas projects.
• Work with project teams to identify, document, and resolve interface issues, ensuring compliance with technical standards and project requirements.
• Develop and maintain interface control documents (ICDs) and interface matrices.
• Coordinate interface activities between engineering teams, vendors, and contractors.
• Identify potential interface conflicts and facilitate timely resolution.
• Support design reviews, testing, and commissioning phases.
• Ensure all interfaces meet safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
