Job summary

S&P Global Ratings in London seeks a senior roles to lead insurance credit analysis and surveillance across portfolios in the UK, Middle East, and Central Asia. You will synthesize portfolio signals, advise clients, and ensure governance with innovative AI-enabled workflows.

Strong background in insurance analysis, accounting concepts, and risk assessment is essential, along with the ability to travel and communicate in English; Arabic and Russian are considered a plus.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable expertise in insurance industry and company analysis, with understanding of markets, environments, and regulations in UK, Middle East and Central Asia.
• Strong ability to interpret accounting concepts and analyze insurance financial statements.
• Solid credit, financial and risk analysis skills; link drivers to forward-looking views and risk appetite.
• Practical experience embedding AI, large language models, or automation in analytical workflows.
• High standards for analytical quality, traceability, governance and responsible use of AI in controlled settings.
• Willingness to travel, sometimes on short notice.
• Fluent English; Arabic and Russian preferred for professional work communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end credit analysis and surveillance for assigned insurance credits, synthesizing portfolio performance and market signals into actionable insights.
• Prepare and review analytical inputs, reconciling metrics and documenting assumptions to ensure methodology adherence.
• Translate complex data into clear client-ready narratives and advise on analytical issues within defined parameters.
• Ensure confidentiality, data governance and contribute to designing controlled automation workflows.
