Job summary

Work corp is seeking an Indian Pastry Chef to join our Ajman team. You will create delicious and visually appealing desserts, bake, decorate and plate pastries, while managing ingredients and equipment inventory.

Non-native English speakers are welcome if they communicate effectively in English. The role requires maintaining sanitation, training junior staff and ensuring quality in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or similar role.
• Extensive knowledge of traditional Indian desserts and pastry techniques.
• Ability to follow recipes accurately and create unique variations.
• Strong time-management skills with the ability to multitask.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Understanding of food safety regulations.
• Diploma or degree in culinary arts or relevant field is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare doughs, fillings, and batters; bake, decorate and plate desserts.
• Maintain inventory of ingredients and equipment.
• Ensure sanitation standards are met and adhere to food safety guidelines.
• Train junior staff members and supervise day-to-day pastry operations.
