Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide consultant-level surgical care with assessment, diagnosis and follow-up
• Perform elective and emergency general surgery procedures
• Demonstrate minimally invasive and advanced laparoscopic skills
• Manage complex GI tract and general surgery conditions
• Conduct preoperative evaluations and informed consent
• Lead multidisciplinary discussions with anaesthesiology, radiology and others
• Ensure postoperative monitoring and complication management
• Participate in audits, governance and safety programmes
• Maintain accurate medical records in line with UAE regulations
• Supervise trainees and junior staff where applicable
• Contribute to surgical protocol development and service improvement
• Support UAE licensing processes and professional development
