SearchPlus HR Consultancy is seeking an experienced Consultant General Surgeon to join a leading private hospital in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. The successful candidate will provide comprehensive surgical care, manage a broad range of general surgical conditions, and contribute to high standards of clinical excellence and patient safety.

The role requires UK CCT in General Surgery or American Board Certification, substantial consultant-level experience, and the ability to lead complex surgical cases,

Qualifications

• UK CCT in General Surgery or American Board Certification.
• A consultant-level track with extensive general surgery experience.
• Experience with complex surgical cases and diverse procedures (laparoscopic desirable).

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and manage a broad range of general surgical conditions.
• Perform elective and emergency surgical procedures.
• Conduct patient assessments and interpret labs/imaging.
• Develop individualized treatment plans with pre-/post-operative care.
• Perform laparoscopic/minimally invasive procedures where trained.
• Manage acute surgical emergencies and post-op complications.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for coordinated care.
• Provide consultations to other healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate medical records and comply with governance.
• Participate in audits, quality improvement, and CPD.
• Supervise and train junior doctors when applicable.
