Job summary

Gulf Contracting & Landscaping (GCL) seeks an experienced General Foreman to supervise and coordinate civil, finishing, and MEP activities on site in Dubai. The role ensures execution is safe, efficient, and aligned with drawings, specs, quality standards, and schedules.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years of General Foreman experience in building construction, with strong UAE/GCC exposure and proven ability to manage civil works, finishing, and MEP coordination on large-scale projects.

Qualifications

Diploma or technical qualification in civil, electrical, or mechanical discipline.
10+ years of experience as a General Foreman in building construction.
Strong UAE/GCC experience preferred.
Experience coordinating civil, finishing, and MEP works.

Responsibilities

Supervise daily site activities across civil, finishing, and MEP works.
Coordinate with site engineers, supervisors, subcontractors, and workforce teams.
Ensure works comply with drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
Manage manpower allocation, productivity, and progress.
Monitor quality of civil works, finishes, and MEP installations.
Coordinate interfaces between Civil, Architectural, and MEP disciplines.
Review drawings and ensure proper execution on site.
Conduct inspections and rectify defects promptly.
Ensure proper use of materials, tools, and equipment.
Report progress, challenges, and site requirements to Construction Manager.
Ensure compliance with HSE requirements and safe working practices.
Support project completion, snagging, and handover activities.
