Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or diploma in mechanical/fire protection engineering.
• 3–7 years of commissioning experience in fire protection or MEP systems.
• Knowledge of NFPA standards and Civil Defence procedures in UAE/GCC.
• Ability to read shop drawings, hydraulic calculations, and testing requirements.
• Strong troubleshooting, coordination, and reporting skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute pre-commissioning, testing, commissioning, and handover.
• Inspect installations for compliance with drawings and standards.
• Test and commission pumps, tanks, hydrants, risers, and sprinklers.
• Carry out hydrostatic tests, flow tests, and verification.
• Coordinate inspections with authorities, clients, and subcontractors.
• Prepare test records, checklists, and handover documents.
• Provide technical guidance to site engineers and teams.
