Job summary

McDermott International, Ltd is seeking a Principal Project Engineer to lead engineering activities on offshore EPC projects. The role involves coordinating multidisciplinary teams, developing execution plans, and ensuring technical content aligns with contract requirements.

The incumbent will work closely with PEMs, PMs, and senior engineers, applying extensive project engineering knowledge and international project experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering.
• 10+ years of proven EPC project engineering experience in offshore oil and gas.
• Experience with Saudi Aramco / KJO projects is a plus.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the engineering scope of a McDermott project.
• Develop and implement the Project Execution Plan.
• Provide direction to Engineering Leads on assigned project.
• Lead and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams across the project lifecycle.
• Prepare and review project documentation, reports, and technical queries.
