Job summary

Black Box in the United Arab Emirates seeks a Lead ELV Security Systems professional to guide projects from kickoff to commissioning and handover. You will act as the technical authority on site, resolving design and installation challenges while coordinating with project managers, site teams, subcontractors, and other ELV disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Project Delivery & Technical Execution
• Lead ELV Security System projects from kick-off to commissioning and handover
• Act as the technical authority during project execution, resolving design and site-level challenges
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Site teams and subcontractors
• Coordinate with Other ELV disciplines (ICT, AV, BMS, Structured Cabling)
• Ensure installations align with Approved drawings and specifications
• OEM guidelines and international best practices
• Customer & Stakeholder Engagement
• Serve as the primary technical interface for SME and Enterprise customers
• Main contractors and consultants, Authorities and inspection teams
• Clarify technical queries and provide value engineering options
• Support solution presentations and demonstrations when required
• Build trust through clear communication, timely delivery, and technical excellence
• Regulatory Compliance & Authority Approvals
• Ensure all security systems comply with UAE and Emirate-specific regulations (Dubai Police SIRA, Local authority, Civil Defense)
• Manage design submissions, inspections, testing, and final approvals
• Maintain knowledge of evolving security regulations and standards
• Commissioning, Handover & After-Sales Support
• Lead commissioning and system integration activities
• Deliver as-built drawings, O&M manuals, testing and certification documents
• Support customer training and transition to operations
• Provide technical support during warranty and defect liability periods
• Team Leadership & Capability Building
• Lead and mentor Engineers, Supervisors, and Technicians
• Set technical standards and quality benchmarks
• Support skill development across design, deployment, and troubleshooting
• Commercial & Operational Support
• Support project cost control, variation evaluation, and optimization initiatives
• Assist management with Resource planning, Risk identification and mitigation
• Continuous improvement of delivery processes
