L&T Hydrocarbon Engineering is seeking a Project Engineer Electrical PMT in Abu Dhabi to represent the Owner PMC, assuring electrical systems meet project specs and international standards. You will oversee design review, vendor coordination, and commissioning support, ensuring system reliability and safety.
The ideal candidate has 10–18 years of EPC experience in Oil & Gas or offshore projects, with Middle East exposure and proficiency in ETAP, SKM, Navisworks, SP3D, and MS Office.
The Project Engineer Electrical PMT acts as the Owner PMC representative responsible for ensuring that all electrical systems and equipment are designed procured installed tested and commissioned in compliance with project specifications international standards and contractual requirements The role focuses on engineering assurance system integration vendor coordination and construction oversight rather than detailed design execution
Education: Bachelor s Degree in: Electrical Engineering
Experience: 10 - 18 years of experience in EPC projects, with a minimum of 5-8 years in Oil & Gas / Offshore projects. Experience in Middle East projects (ADNOC, Aramco, Qatar Energy) is preferred. Exposure to HV/MV/LV systems and substations is required.
Technical & Functional Skills: Electrical Expertise including power system design and analysis, load flow, short circuit, and protection coordination, electrical equipment selection and specification, installation and commissioning practices. Familiarity with IEC/IEEE standards, NFPA standards, and client-specific standards (ADNOC/Aramco). Proficiency with tools such as ETAP/SKM Power Tools, 3D model review tools (Navisworks, SP3D), and MS Office tools.
Behavioral Competencies: Strong technical review and analytical skills, effective multi-discipline coordination, high attention to safety and compliance, strong problem-solving skills (especially during commissioning), and good communication and stakeholder management.
