Job summary

Worley is seeking a senior Electrical/Engineering professional to lead EPC/FEED activities on major Oil & Gas or Petrochemical projects in the United Arab Emirates. The role requires extensive experience in FEED & EPC phases, offshore projects, and ADNOC program exposure, with a strong focus on safety and quality control.

• Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited university.
• Minimum 15 years of relevant Oil & Gas or Petrochemical experience.
• ADNOC project experience required.
• Offshore project experience required.
• PMC experience preferred.
• Experience in FEED & EPC phases required.

Responsibilities

• Champion project safety culture and engagement activities.
• Identify and resolve project management issues during early work and FEED phases.
• Address electrical engineering issues and provide technical guidance.
• Represent Owner with EPC/FEED contractor and coordinate project activities.
• Review and approve contractor deliverables and design documents within approved timeframes.
• Attend technical meetings with Owner, Licensor, Contractor and Vendors.
• Ensure quality procedures are established and followed by EPC/FEED contractor.
• Coordinate engineering participation in design reviews and workshops.
• Support interface management between EPC/FEED contractor, Owner and third parties.

Qualifications and Experience

• A bachelors degree in relevant engineering or equivalent from an accredited university with a minimum of fifteen (15) years of relevant experience in the Oil & Gas or Petrochemical industry.
• Must have at least five (5) years of experience in similar position in a mega Oil & Gas or Petrochemical projects.
• ADNOC project experience is required.
• Offshore project experience is required.
• PMC experiences are preferrable.
• Experience in FEED & EPC Phases is required.

Responsibilities

• Champion the Project Safety culture behaviors and engagement activities.
• Identifying evaluating and resolving Project Management issues during the early work phase and FEED phases of the Project.
• Identifying evaluating and resolving electrical Engineering issues.
• Act on behalf of and as authorized by Owner on all matters with respect to the EPC / FEED Contractor and shall coordinate Project activities.
• Review and approve within the specified approval durations the Contractor key deliverables and other works within the electrical discipline ensuring compliance with design requirements which involves the interpretation and review of calculations specifications plans investigations surveys structures system or equipment with relatively few complex features.
• Attend regular or as needed meetings at EPC / FEED Contractors Engineering offices and construction Site offices to discuss the progress of EPC / FEED Contractors Engineering Procurement and Construction activities.
• Review and approve the following Contractors deliverables.
• Review and approve key design documents from Vendors equipment manufacturers or Subcontractors and prepare comments and recommendations incorporating any comments received from the Owner.
• Attend technical meeting with Owner Licensor Contractor and Vendors.
• Attend all Project technical sessions by the Contractor such as: Design Review Meetings 3D Model Review Meeting Constructability SIL EIA HAZOP and HAZID etc.
• Ensuring that the Project quality procedures are established maintained and implemented by the EPC / FEED Contractor.
• Ensure quality and accuracy of Contractors Engineering design activities system integration and design selection.
• Supervise and manage the review and approval of Contractors work ensuring compliance with Owner and Project specifications relevant codes and standards and industry best practices.
• Coordinate the required Engineering participation in the development and analysis of various design options and business models. Contribute input and expertise in the development and analysis of various design options and business models to ensure design optimization and validation for the Owner.
• Coordinate other discipline Engineers participation in layout reviews design reviews and technical workshops.
• Provide technical assistance and coordination with other discipline Engineers.
• Coordinate auditing activities of the EPC / FEED Contractor and ensure that the recommendations for improvement are implemented.
• Manage and coordinate interface activities between the EPC / FEED Contractor Owner as well as with outside third parties.
• Coordinate technical reviews and analysis during vendor prequalification bid evaluation and performance evaluation.
• Coordinate the review of technical bid submissions and perform technical bid analysis.
