Job summary

TalentOne in Abu Dhabi seeks a hands-on Drone Assembly Engineer to drive the assembly, integration, testing, and quality control of UAV platforms. You will work with mechanical and electronic components, ensuring robust hardware integration and documentation.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years of direct experience in mechanical/electronics assembly, soldering, wiring, and QC, with a strong commitment to safety and process standards in a fast-paced production environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or diploma in a technical discipline (mechanical/electrical/electronics/mechatronics).
• 8+ years hands-on experience in mechanical and electronics assembly.
• Strong understanding of hardware assembly, basic electronics, and QA procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and integrate mechanical, electrical, and electronic components for UAV/drone platforms.
• Perform wiring, cable routing, connector installation, and hardware integration with high accuracy.
• Carry out soldering activities involving PCBs, flight controllers, power systems, connectors and related hardware.
• Use hand tools, power tools, precision instruments, and workshop equipment safely.
• Conduct initial hardware inspections, functional checks, and basic troubleshooting of components.
