Job summary

ARENGY, a UAE-based technical consultancy and recruitment services company, is seeking two UAV Assembly Technicians to join one of our customers in Abu Dhabi. This hands-on role focuses on assembling, wiring, integrating and testing custom-built drones for advanced UAV and aerial robotics projects.

You will work with engineers to assemble frames, fit motors and controllers, solder cables, perform checks, and support prototypes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or vocational training in electronics, mechanics, mechatronics or similar.
• Basic understanding of electronics and DC circuits.
• Good soldering skills.
• Strong manual dexterity with small components.
• Experience with drones, RC models, electronics, mechanics or robotics projects.

Responsibilities

• Assemble carbon-fiber drone frames and payload systems.
• Install motors, ESCs, flight controllers, GPS, and power systems.
• Solder power cables and wiring harnesses.
• Perform continuity checks, visual inspections and basic bench testing.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and assist prototyping.

We are currently looking for 2 UAV Assembly Technicians to join one of our customers in Abu Dhabi, an innovative and fast-growing company developing advanced UAV and aerial robotics technologies. This is a highly hands-on position, ideal for candidates passionate about drones, electronics, mechanics, RC models or robotics who want to develop their career in the rapidly growing UAV industry.

Your Role

• Working alongside experienced engineers and technicians, you will participate in the assembly, wiring, integration and testing of custom-built drones, including:
• Assembling carbon-fiber/composite drone frames, landing gear and payload systems
• Installing motors, ESCs, flight controllers, GPS modules, FPV equipment and power distribution systems
• Soldering power cables, connectors, signal wires and wiring harnesses
• Performing continuity checks, visual inspections and basic bench testing
• Supporting drone prototyping, component installation and mechanical modifications
• Using workshop tools and maintaining a clean, organized and safe working environment
• Supporting the team during different UAV build and testing iterations

Profil recherché :

We are looking primarily for practical, hands-on candidates rather than purely academic profiles.

You should have:

• High school diploma; technical/vocational education in electronics, mechanics, mechatronics or similar is preferred
• Basic understanding of electronics and DC circuits
• Good soldering skills
• Strong manual dexterity and ability to work accurately with small components
• Experience using tools such as multimeters, wire strippers, screwdrivers, calipers and hex keys
• Hands-on experience through professional work, personal projects or hobbies involving drones, FPV, RC models, electronics, mechanics, robotics or maker projects
• Strong attention to detail, patience and willingness to learn
• Practical and resourceful problem-solving mindset

Nice to Have

• FPV drones / RC aircraft
• CAD tools such as Fusion 360 or SolidWorks
• 3D printing
• Firmware flashing or drone configuration software such as ArduPilot, PX4, Betaflight or INAV
• Drone pilot certification
