Job summary

Air Q Limited in Abu Dhabi is seeking a Systems Engineer to join the Mechanical R&D team and contribute to the development of advanced UAV platforms.

The role focuses on aircraft systems integration, definition, verification, and validation, requiring collaboration across Mechanical R&D, Powertrain, Avionics, Flight Dynamics, and Flight Operations.

You will ensure that structures, propulsion, avionics, electrical systems, and flight controls work together as a single, reliable UAV system.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum five years in engineering, systems engineering, or UAV domain.
• Experience with requirements, architecture, interfaces, integration, verification and validation.
• Strong analytical, planning and multidisciplinary coordination skills.
• Professional fluency in English.

Responsibilities

• Define and maintain aircraft-level and subsystem requirements.
• Develop system architecture, breakdowns and technical specifications.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary integration and interface management.
• Support verification and validation plans and test activities.
• Ensure traceability from requirements to verification results.
