Job summary

BESIX Middle East is seeking an experienced Design Manager to join the Engineering Department in Dubai. The role focuses on leading multidisciplinary design activities for buildings, infrastructure, and marine projects, ensuring safe, cost-effective, and compliant engineering solutions.

You will support tendering, review designs, and coordinate with consultants and stakeholders to drive project delivery and value engineering while maintaining QA/QC and safety standards on site.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Civil Engineering required.
• Professional Engineering certification is an advantage.
• Additional qualifications in Project Management or Design Management are beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary design activities across the project lifecycle.
• Review and validate design submissions, calculations, drawings & reports.
• Manage external design consultants and ensure deliverables meet budgets & schedules.
• Provide technical support to Tender Department and bid strategies.
• Coordinate design reviews, workshops, and stakeholder meetings on site.
