Job summary

VPS Elite HR Consultancies LLC in the United Arab Emirates seeks an experienced Lead Data Governance professional to own the governance workstream across the full data lifecycle, including data classification, data quality, modelling, remediation, metadata and publication.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in data governance, at least 2 years leading a governance workstream, strong knowledge of DAMA-DMBOK, and Arabic language proficiency with Arab nationality mandatory.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in Data Governance / Data Management.
• 2+ years leading a data governance workstream.
• Arab Nationality – Mandatory and Arabic language proficiency.
• Strong knowledge of DAMA-DMBOK.
• Hands-on experience with data cataloguing, lineage and DQ tools.

Responsibilities

• Own the governance workstream across the full data lifecycle.
• Oversee data classification, data quality, modelling, remediation, metadata and publication.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and facilitate governance workshops.

Required Skills & Experience

• 8+ years of experience in Data Governance / Data Management


• Minimum 2 years leading a data governance workstream


• Strong knowledge of DAMA-DMBOK


• Hands-on experience with NDMO and PDPL in UAE/KSA government or regulated environments


• Experience with data cataloguing, lineage, DQ tools and data classification


• Strong stakeholder management and workshop facilitation skills


• Arab Nationality – Mandatory


• Arabic language proficiency


• CDMP, DGSP or equivalent certification is preferred
