Job summary

Huxley is seeking a Data Governance Implementation Specialist for a 1-year on-site contract in Abu Dhabi. You will implement enterprise data governance frameworks, configure Informatica governance tools, and align policies with business needs.

You will collaborate with data owners and technology teams, translate governance requirements into workflows, and develop governance artefacts. Arabic language preference is noted; strong documentation and communication skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of experience in Data Governance, Data Management, or related disciplines.
• Hands-on implementation experience with Informatica Data Quality (IDQ).
• Strong understanding of Metadata Management, Business Glossary Management and Data Quality Governance.
• Experience implementing governance workflows and operating models within large enterprises.
• Ability to convert governance requirements into practical and scalable solutions.
• Experience working with cross-functional business and technology stakeholders.
• Strong documentation, reporting, and workshop facilitation skills.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Implement and operationalize enterprise data governance frameworks and standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Implement and operationalize enterprise data governance frameworks and standards.
• Configure and manage Informatica governance tools, including:
• Informatica Data Quality (IDQ)
• Translate governance policies and requirements into actionable workflows, stewardship processes, and governance controls.
• Support the establishment and maintenance of business glossaries, metadata repositories, data lineage, and data quality governance processes.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, data owners, stewards, and technology teams to embed governance capabilities into day-to-day operations.
• Facilitate stakeholder workshops, governance forums, and working sessions.
• Develop and maintain governance artefacts, including policies, standards, procedures, operating models, and implementation roadmaps.
• Monitor governance adoption, data quality metrics, and compliance with governance requirements.
• Provide guidance and recommendations on best practices for metadata management, data cataloging, lineage, and data quality management.
• Support organizational change management activities related to data governance initiatives.
