Qualifications

• 3+ years of relevant professional experience in data engineering or a related field.
• Substantial hands-on experience with enterprise-scale data platforms, pipelines, models, and data products.
• Strong practical expertise in: Python, SQL, Apache Spark, Data orchestration, Git, CI/CD, Automated testing, Observability, Performance optimization, Secure engineering practices.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate enterprise-scale data platforms and pipelines.
• Develop scalable data models and data products using modern data engineering technologies.
• Work with cloud and lakehouse architectures to deliver resilient data solutions.
• Develop and optimize data engineering solutions using Python, SQL, and Spark.
• Implement and manage data orchestration workflows.
• Apply Git, CI/CD, automated testing, and observability practices.
• Implement secure engineering practices across data platforms and pipelines.
• Lead technical design activities and participate in architecture and design reviews.
• Conduct code reviews and establish reusable engineering standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical and engineering issues.
• Translate business requirements and desired outcomes into scalable and governed data solutions.
• Plan workloads and manage priorities across data engineering teams.
• Set objectives and provide performance feedback to data engineers.
• Coach team members and support technical capability development.
• Participate in recruitment and onboarding of data engineering professionals.
• Promote operational excellence, documentation, and continuous improvement.
• Communicate technical risks, delivery challenges, and trade-offs to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of data initiatives.
