Job summary

Presight, Abu Dhabi's leading big data analytics company, seeks a Senior Data Engineer to own end-to-end data delivery from source systems to analytics-ready data. You will define the target-state architecture, model enterprise data, and engineer reliable end-to-end pipelines for decision-ready insight.

The role blends strong data engineering with data-architecture leadership in a multicultural environment with occasional client-site travel.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience across data engineering, architecture, modeling and analysis.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure data stack is mandatory.
• Proven track record delivering enterprise-scale data pipelines and platforms.

Responsibilities

• Own the complete data lifecycle from requirements to analytics-ready data.
• Translate business needs into delivery roadmaps and implement solutions.
• Define target-state data architecture, infrastructure, and interfaces.
• Design lake / warehouse / lakehouse architectures for ingestion, storage and processing.
• Develop conceptual, logical, and physical data models with star/snowflake schemas.
• Build scalable batch and real-time data pipelines from diverse sources.
• Implement data quality checks, governance, and observability across pipelines.
• Collaborate with IT and data owners, ensuring end-to-end data integrity.
