Lead Corporate Interior Designer – Dubai

Job summary

JLL in Dubai is seeking an Associate Designer to support the Head of Workplace in delivering corporate projects. You will lead the design implementation, manage the team, and work closely with clients to ensure delivery to specification within budget and schedule.

You will develop design concepts, coordinate with the external team, supervise construction, and participate in bids and client presentations while maintaining JLL standards and pursuing ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture/Interior Design or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of relevant experience with at least 3 years in GCC region.
• Demonstrated experience managing projects valued at AED 500M in the UAE or GCC region.
• Experience in Construction Supervision.

Responsibilities

• Develop the design and project with input from Head of Workplace for key stages.
• Prepare concept designs, technical drawings, 3D models, mood boards and boards.
• Conduct programming such as space planning and utilization of furnishings and equipment.
• Develop innovative, functional designs within budget and timescales.
• Select and specify furniture, lighting, flooring, wall coverings and artwork; estimate costs.
• Prepare and conduct client presentations.
• Assist in bids and proposals.
• Liaise with external design team to produce coordinated drawings.
• Assist leading the design team.
• Pursue continuing professional development.
• Ensure compliance with JLL procedures and standards.
• Contribute as required.
