Job summary

Abu Dhabi Health Services .Co ( Psc ) is seeking a Consultant Physician to lead and supervise delivery of evidence-based care across the department. The role requires leadership of junior staff and compliance with hospital policies.

The successful candidate will diagnose and treat patients, participate in performance management, scheduling, recruitment support, and ongoing CME activities, while ensuring safe care and effective use of resources across shifts and on-call coverage.

Qualifications

• Required: Tier 1 – minimum 2 years relevant experience as a consultant or equivalent post board certification.
• Tier 2 – minimum 8 years full-time employment as a Consultant or equivalent post board certification (including fellowship training).

Responsibilities

• Oversees junior medical staff and ensures care quality.
• Implements hospital policies on admissions, consultations, and discharge protocols.
• Leads ward rounds, documents clinical information clearly, and ensures timely communication with patients and families.
• Participates in and supports on-call coverage, including evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Supports quality improvement, audits, and continues medical education within the department.
