Job summary

Penspen is urgently looking to hire for Lead Construction Engineer - Construction & Installation (Structure) for one of our Offshore PMC projects in Abu Dhabi.

A Bachelor's Degree in Civil/Structural Engineering and 15+ years of offshore experience are required, with proven expertise in offshore structural construction/installation and PMC/EPC background preferred. ADNOC Offshore experience is an advantage.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or Structural Engineering from an accredited university.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, supervise and technically support structural fabrication, construction, installation, modification and completion activities for offshore oil & gas facilities.
• Ensure structural works are executed safely, efficiently, within schedule and in accordance with approved engineering documents, specifications, codes, project procedures and client/operator requirements.
• Act as the principal structural construction interface between Engineering, Fabrication, Offshore Installation, HUP, Marine, Lifting, QA/QC, HSE, Planning, Procurement, Vendors, Subcontractors and Client representatives.
• Lead structural construction engineering activities.
• Provide technical direction to structural construction teams.
• Coordinate structural work fronts with fabrication and offshore installation teams.
• Ensure construction activities follow approved engineering documents.
• Resolve field engineering and constructability issues.
• Coordinate structural execution with other disciplines.
• Support construction management in achieving project milestones.

Experience Required

• Minimum 15+ years of experience, with at least 5 to 8+ years significant in offshore project.
• Proven experience in in structural construction/installation
• Significant offshore structural installation experience.
• Experience with offshore platforms, jackets, topsides or modules
• Strong experience in structural fabrication and offshore installation
• Preferred experience from PMC/EPC Background.
• Previous ADNOC Offshore Experience is advantage.
