Job summary

AlphaMind Group is seeking an experienced Senior Chef de Partie to join Café KIRA in Dubai. The successful candidate will lead a kitchen section, uphold high standards of food quality, and train junior chefs while maintaining strict HACCP compliance and smooth service.

The role demands strong culinary knowledge, organizational excellence, and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, luxury dining environment.

Qualifications

• Senior CDP experience or strong CDP background in a reputable restaurant, luxury hotel, or high-volume premium dining establishment.
• Strong culinary knowledge, technical skills, and attention to detail.
• Proven ability to independently manage a kitchen section and supervise junior team members.
• Good understanding of HACCP, food safety, and kitchen hygiene standards.
• Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining quality and consistency.
• Flexible, proactive, and able to adapt to a dynamic kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the daily operations of the assigned kitchen section, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
• Maintain high standards of food preparation, presentation, and consistency according to Café KIRA's recipes and guidelines.
• Supervise, train, and support junior chefs, ensuring proper execution of daily tasks.
• Ensure all mise en place is completed accurately and on time for each service.
• Monitor food quality, portion control, stock rotation, and minimize food waste.
• Maintain strict compliance with HACCP, food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
• Support the Sous Chef and Junior Sous Chef with daily kitchen operations, inventory control, and ordering.
• Assist with menu development, recipe testing, and implementation of new dishes when required.
• Take responsibility for the section and ensure smooth operations in the absence of the Sous Chef.
