Job summary

OKAB Group is seeking a certified Head Barista to lead the new cafe initiative, delivering exceptional coffee and rich guest experiences in Dubai. You will oversee all aspects of the coffee shop, shape beverage programs, and drive team performance in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of specialty coffee experience, strong communication and training skills, and a passion for roasting. This full-time role offers competitive pay, medical cover, visa support, and career growth

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience dealing with specialty coffee
• Physically able to stand for 9 hours or more
• Sharp attention to detail
• A love of coffee and curiosity
• Superb communication and guest service abilities
• Ability to work under tremendous pressure while maintaining high standards
• Strong organizational skills and capacity to function well in a team
• Roasting experience would be an added benefit

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of all aspects of the coffee shop
• Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and beverages; be the shop’s Coffee Specialist
• Showcase deep knowledge of coffees, origins, flavors and extraction methods
• Train junior or new baristas as needed
• Regularly clean coffee equipment and maintain hygiene standards
• Uphold all store policies and cafe procedures
• Create a premium cafe experience through service, drinks, presentation and store merchandising
• Assist with building a strong cafe culture and potential expansion plans
