Job summary

MyPT is opening a new gym in the UAE and is seeking an experienced Barista Supervisor to lead our in-house café operations. You will oversee daily café activities, train the barista team, and ensure exceptional service.

Candidates should have 3–5 years in a café, at least 1 year in a supervisory role, and strong espresso knowledge with a focus on beverage quality and presentation. UAE food safety compliance and POS experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in a café or coffee shop.
• At least 1 year of experience in a supervisory or team leader role.
• Strong knowledge of espresso machines, coffee preparation, and beverage standards.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
• Experience with POS systems, cash handling, and inventory management.
• Knowledge of UAE food safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the daily operations of the café, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
• Lead, train, coach, and motivate the barista team to deliver outstanding customer service.
• Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, beverages, and light refreshments according to company standards.
• Maintain consistency in beverage quality, presentation, and service.
• Create staff schedules and manage daily shift operations.
• Monitor inventory, stock levels, and ordering while minimizing waste.
• Ensure compliance with UAE food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
• Handle customer feedback and resolve service issues professionally.
• Maintain cleanliness and proper maintenance of café equipment and work areas.
• Monitor sales performance and support initiatives to improve café revenue.
