Job summary

Bybit Limited is seeking a backend engineer to design and build the core trading system in a high-traffic environment. You will maintain and optimize systems to achieve stability and low latency, while participating in business design and documenting technical details.

You should have a solid C++ foundation, experience with Redis, Kafka and Elasticsearch, and be comfortable shaping the platform architecture for scalable Web3-based finance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in computer science or a related field.
• Strong C++ foundation with exposure to open source libraries (Folly, Boost).
• Experience with Redis, Kafka and Elasticsearch for scalable systems.
• Solid system analysis, design, refactoring and architecture skills.
• Familiarity with distributed, high-traffic, high-performance environments.

Job responsibilities:

• Responsible for the design and development of the backend system of the trading core system
• Responsible for system maintenance, upgrade and optimization, overcoming various technical difficulties brought by high concurrency, stability, low latency, etc
• Strong business sense, participate in business design, propose feasible and constructive solutions, and be able to independently write relevant technical documents
• Participate in research and practice of cutting-edge technologies, promote and plan the future technology architecture direction of the platform

Job requirements:

• Bachelor's degree or above, major in computer science
• C++ solid foundation, familiar with folly, boost and other open source libraries, studied excellent open source component source code and experience is preferred
• Proficient in NoSQL cache, message queue, search engines, such as Redis, Kafka, Elasticsearch, etc
• Skilled in system analysis and design, code refactoring, with experience in large-scale project foundation and application architecture design
• Familiar with the design and application of distributed systems with high traffic, high concurrency, and high performance, and skilled in performance tuning is preferred
• Full stack technical expert/trading system construction experience/memory system construction experience bonus points
