Job summary

Etihad Airways is seeking an experienced B2 Aircraft Engineer with Base Maintenance experience to join our Operations & Guest Experience division in Abu Dhabi. You will perform and certify maintenance activities, lead Aircraft Technicians, and ensure tasks are completed safely, accurately, and in compliance with standards and authorization policies.

You will certify work, maintain thorough documentation, and support a culture of safety and quality across all shifts.

Qualifications

Must hold Aircraft Maintenance License (GCAA / EASA Part-66 / ICAO Type)
7–10 years of aircraft maintenance experience, incl. 5+ years certifying
Certifying on at least 2 Etihad aircraft type ratings (Airbus/Boeing)
Excellent communication and teamwork with strong safety focus

Responsibilities

Certify own work and others after verifying maintenance per approved data and authorization scope.
Complete documentation accurately and on time per procedures.
Perform maintenance in line with health, safety, and regulatory requirements.
Lead and guide Aircraft Technicians to ensure safe, efficient work.
Maintain clean, safe work areas and protect against FOD.
Provide guidance to Technicians for safe and effective practices.
Ensure equipment and tools are prepared at each shift start.
Adhere to SQMM and promote safety culture across the team.
