Job summary

Etihad Engineering is seeking a B2 Technician responsible for performing aircraft maintenance activities, rectifying defects, and supporting Licensed Aircraft Engineers to ensure safety and airworthiness. You will follow official data, manage tooling and documentation, maintain a clean FOD-free bay, record daily maintenance, and participate in continuous personal development to grow in aircraft knowledge.

Qualifications

• High School leaving Certificate / or Diploma.
• Served an apprenticeship with an airline/ approved organization.
• 3 years of experience in Base Maintenance including hands-on experience working in Avionics/IFE.

Responsibilities

• Perform aircraft maintenance activities and rectify defects.
• Ensure materials, tooling, and documentation are prepared in advance for the task.
• Maintain a FOD free working area and clean up bay area before and after work.
• Ensure daily maintenance activities are properly recorded and signed off.
• Ensure compliance with Health and Safety Rules & procedures.
• Support open reporting culture that aligns with the company ethos.
• Return unused serviceable and unserviceable items to stores with correct labels.
• Ensure tooling is cleaned and labeled if defective.
• Continues personal development and increases aircraft knowledge.
