Job summary

Jobs2Web is seeking an experienced B1 Certifying Engineer to lead a team of Aircraft Engineers and Technicians in our Sharjah-based Base/Hangar operations. The role requires Cat C authorization and an unrestricted EASA Part 66 or GCAA CAR 66 B1 license with a track record of team leadership.

You will ensure maintenance tasks comply with airline and regulatory requirements, manage task allocation, supervise task execution, and drive continuous improvement including cost-saving initiatives.

Qualifications

• Holds an EASA Part 66 or GCAA CAR 66 B1 License (unrestricted).
• Category C Authorization.
• 2+ years of B1 maintenance experience with team-leading exposure.
• Fluent in English (verbal and written).

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate a team of B1 Engineers and Lead Technicians to complete tasks on schedule.
• Verify maintenance work meets required standards and follows procedures.
• Distribute and allocate maintenance tasks to engineers to ensure timely completion.
• Monitor progress and performance of assigned engineers on shift.
• Provide guidance to engineers and technicians; assist with troubleshooting and solutions.
• Escalate concerns to the Shift Manager and propose corrective actions.
• Implement cost-saving initiatives within the B1 scope.
• Ensure proper handover and communication between shifts and teams.
