Job summary

Air Arabia is seeking an experienced Aircraft Maintenance Technician with CAR 66 B1 licensing for Airbus A320 family to join our line/base maintenance team at Sharjah. You will supervise and perform maintenance tasks, ensure documentation, parts, tools and GSE are ready, and sign off tasks within your authorisation.

You will work with Engineers and Technicians to ensure safety, quality and timely completion, while adhering to maintenance manuals, regulatory requirements and company procedures.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English to a good standard for technical communications.
• Holds / has held an EASA Part 66 or GCAA CAR 66 B1 Aircraft Maintenance License and company approvals on Airbus A320.
• Ability to obtain an unrestricted UAE CAR 66 B1 license.
• In-depth airframe and engine systems maintenance knowledge.
• Ability to obtain a UAE driving license.

Responsibilities

• Reviews assigned task cards with Maintenance Manager to understand work, priorities, documentation and cautions.
• Prepares and performs scheduled aircraft maintenance with required documentation, parts, tools and GSE.
• Carries out aircraft test and inspection tasks and records defects per procedures.
• Signs off tasks within own authorization after ensuring documentation is complete.
• Manages communications with Engineers and Technicians for task coordination and handover.
• Maintains safety by enforcing mandatory precautions and proper PPE usage.
• Leads and guides Technicians assigned to support tasks while ensuring non-certifying maintenance is performed.
