Job summary

Air Arabia seeks an experienced Aircraft Maintenance Technician to carry out and supervise line and base maintenance on Airbus A320 family aircraft, ensuring work is certified and recorded in compliance with CAR 66 and regulatory requirements.

You will review task cards, prepare for maintenance, perform tests and inspections, troubleshoot defects, sign off tasks, and coordinate with engineers and technicians while maintaining safety and cost-conscious practices.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years’ experience certifying maintenance on the Airbus A320 family of aircraft.
• At least 5 years’ experience in a Base or Line Maintenance environment.

Responsibilities

• Review assigned task cards with the Maintenance Manager to understand work, priorities and documentation before starting.
• Prepare and perform scheduled aircraft maintenance ensuring documentation, parts, tools and GSE are available.
• Carry out aircraft tests and inspections to identify defects and record them.
• Perform defect troubleshooting and rectification per Aircraft Maintenance Manuals.
• Sign off maintenance tasks within own authorization and ensure documentation complete.
• Manage communications with Engineers and Technicians for task coordination and handover.
