Job summary
Baker Hughes seeks an experienced Lead Commissioning Engineer to join our team in the United Arab Emirates. You will oversee commissioning of heavy-duty gas turbines, centrifugal compressors, and related systems, manage non-conformities, and act as a technical reference for field and project engineers.
The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Electronics/Electrical or equivalent, 7+ years in control systems on rotating machinery, proficiency with MarkVIe/MarkVIeS, PLCs, DCS, and strong English
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electronics/Electrical or equivalent Engineering degree.
- 7+ years of technical experience on control systems and rotating machinery at project sites.
- Proficiency with MarkVIe, MarkVIeS SIL System, Proficy Machine Edition, PLCs, DCS.
- Fluency in English with strong communication and presentation skills.
- Willingness to travel to multiple sites.
Responsibilities
- Manage non-conformities and resolve technical issues with ownership.
- Serve as technical reference for field and project engineers.
- Lead engineering lessons learnt and share across projects.
- Prepare and review trip investigations, RCA, and corrective actions.
