Job summary

Synechron is seeking an Acquiring Project Manager in Dubai, UAE to lead end-to-end acquiring projects including merchant onboarding, POS implementations, and payment gateway integrations. You will collaborate with business stakeholders, acquiring partners, payment networks, merchants, and technology teams to ensure timely delivery within budget, while maintaining PCI-DSS and EMV compliance.

Experience 7–15 years in acquiring, payments, or card programs is required.

Qualifications

5+ years of experience managing acquiring, payment processing, or card payment projects.
Experience coordinating with banks, networks, merchants, and vendors.
Knowledge of PCI-DSS and EMV standards is required.

Responsibilities

Lead and manage payment acquiring projects from initiation through deployment and post-production support.
Coordinate with acquiring banks, payment processors, card schemes, merchants, and third-party vendors.
Drive implementation of POS terminals, SoftPOS, QR payments, and payment gateways.
Monitor timelines, milestones, dependencies, and deliverables.
Ensure compliance with PCI-DSS, EMV, card scheme regulations, and internal security standards.
Provide regular project status updates to senior management.
Support merchant onboarding, integration testing, and go-live activities.
