Job summary

Minor Hotels is seeking a Gardener for the Qasr Al Sarab Desert Resort By Anantara in the United Arab Emirates. You will manage gardening tasks, ensure grounds are well kept, and support environmental initiatives.

The role requires hands-on horticultural work, safe tool handling, collaboration with hotel staff, and a commitment to eco-friendly practices to enhance the guest experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all gardening duties for the hotel with care for the environment.
• Set and manage the gardening work schedule for the property.
• Ensure safe and proper use, maintenance and storage of all tools.
• Interact with guests and colleagues professionally.
• Keep all gardening areas clean and tidy.
• Report potential dangers as soon as possible.
• Lead energy and environmental programs and promote eco-friendly products.

• To oversee all gardening duties within the scope of the hotel, with care and concern for the environment of the property.
• To ensure work is conducted in a timely manner, and to set the gardening work schedule for the hotel.
• To oversee that the tools provided by the hotel are used in a safe and professional manner, and that they are maintained and looked after, and properly stored.
• To interact with all customers and colleagues professionally.
• To ensure that all gardening work areas are kept clean and tidy.
• To report potential dangers as soon as possible.
• To take a leading role in the energy and environmental programs of the hotel, and advocate the use of environmentally friendly products in the work place.
