Job summary

Minor Hotels is seeking a hospitality professional for the Qasr Al Sarab Desert Resort By Anantara in Abu Dhabi. You will greet and seat guests, maintain a polished restaurant front of house, and ensure service standards and reservations are followed.

Responsibilities include table setup, cleanliness, friendly guest interactions, professional telephone etiquette, and cashier duties as needed. Join a team focused on warm hospitality and excellence in guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Hospitality experience or customer-facing role preferred.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Interact with guests in a friendly and welcoming manner.
• Maintain professional telephone etiquette and understand reservation policies.
• Be familiar with services offered in the restaurant and throughout the hotel.
• Greet and seat guests warmly, setting a welcoming tone for the guest experience.
• Ensure front or restaurant is covered; keep entrance inviting and attractive.
• Check each table for cleanliness and full setup before seating guests.
• Seek guest feedback and address issues with outlet managers when needed.
• Assist in service and cash handling and closing tables.

• To understand and adhere to all hotel policies and Standard Operating Procedures with regard to guest service, how to run the operation, and personal discipline and grooming.

• To greet and seat guests in the restaurant in a warm and friendly manner, and set the tone of welcoming hospitality that will continue during the entire guest experience.
• To ensure that the front or the restaurant is always covered, and that the entrance to the restaurant is as welcoming and attractive as possible.
• To check each table to ensure that it is clean and fully set up before any guests are seated at the table.
• To check with guests to get feedback on the quality of their experience. Share any problems that arise with outlet managers, but try to take care of the problem at once.
• Pitch in and help in service whenever the need arises
• Work in a Cashier function and closing tables.
