Job Description
AE Recruitment is seeking a Landscape Design Coordinator to join an international, design-led landscape architecture studio in Dubai.
Working on hospitality, resort, destination and high-end residential developments across the Middle East and Asia, you will help coordinate the landscape design process from concept through to 50% detailed design.
This role combines design understanding with project coordination, program tracking and early-stage technical input. Working closely with the Senior Design Manager, Directors and wider design and technical teams, you will help keep projects aligned with the client brief, masterplan intent, agreed scope and delivery program.
The position will suit a Landscape Architect who enjoys bringing structure to the design process, communicating across disciplines and helping teams deliver well-coordinated work.
Key responsibilities
- Coordinate landscape design delivery across assigned projects, from concept through to 50% detailed design.
- Maintain clear design intent and support consistent design quality, technical alignment and timely delivery.
- Work closely with the Senior Design Manager to coordinate project resources and track team workloads against program and deliverable requirements.
- Coordinate early-stage technical input and undertake quality assurance and quality control checks, supporting a clear handover to the technical team.
- Liaise with Landscape Architects and technical colleagues to clarify project scope, responsibilities and deliverable requirements.
- Coordinate with clients, consultants, sub-consultants and other project stakeholders.
- Act as a day-to-day communication point for assigned projects, supporting the Senior Design Manager and Directors with project coordination and informed decision-making.
- Attend client briefings, record project requirements and communicate them clearly to the design teams.
- Prepare clear meeting minutes, maintain action trackers and follow actions through to completion.
- Maintain an understanding of project agreements and scopes of service, helping teams work within their contractual obligations.
- Prepare and check commercial documentation with the commercial team, including scope alignment, variation order support and project-stage tracking for invoicing.
- Contribute to bids, fee information and other business development activities when required.
- Support improvements to workflows, tools and working methods, and assist with team training where needed.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture.
- 3–5 years of post-graduate experience as a Landscape Architect.
- Experience coordinating multidisciplinary projects from concept through to detailed design.
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to coordinate several projects, deadlines and deliverables simultaneously.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, with a working understanding of landscape construction drawings and details.
- Working knowledge of Revit/BIM coordination, SketchUp, Photoshop and InDesign.
- Excellent written and spoken English, including the ability to produce clear meeting minutes, reports and project correspondence.
- A detail-focused approach, confidence communicating with clients and consultants, and the ability to follow actions through to close-out.
- UAE or wider GCC project experience, including authority submissions.
- Experience on hospitality, resort or high-end residential developments.
- An understanding of consultant appointments, scopes of service and variations.
- Chartered Member of the Landscape Institute status (CMLI).
- A project management qualification, such as PMP or PRINCE2.
- A valid UAE driving licence.
Software skills
- AutoCAD: reviewing and coordinating landscape drawings.
- Bluebeam or equivalent: PDF mark-ups and drawing reviews.
- Microsoft Excel and Project: maintaining programs, registers and trackers.
- Microsoft Word and Outlook: preparing minutes, reports and correspondence.
- Revit/BIM: model coordination and multidisciplinary clash review.
- SketchUp: using 3D models for design review and coordination.

- A salary of AED 18,000–25,000 per month, depending on experience.
- UAE residence visa, medical insurance and annual leave in line with UAE Labour Law.
- The opportunity to work on high-profile developments for international brands across the Middle East and Asia.
- A central coordination role working directly with the Senior Design Manager and Directors.
