Job summary

Work standard is seeking a Land Surveyor in Abu-Dhabi, UAE to perform field surveys, data collection, and map production using AutoCAD. The role requires knowledge of surveying methods, accuracy, and safety regulations, with the ability to work independently or in a team.

The candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in Surveying and experience in a similar role, with strong English and Arabic communication skills preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Surveying or equivalent qualification.
• Proven experience working as a Land Surveyor or similar role.
• Good knowledge of surveying techniques, principles, methods, equipment, materials and safety regulations.
• Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team environment.
• Ability to work in challenging terrain with extended work hours when needed.
• Excellent verbal communication skills with fluency in English & Arabic (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Conduct field surveys using conventional surveying equipment, such as total stations and theodolites
• Collect data from sites and generate reports
• Analyze survey data for accuracy and precision
• Create maps and plans accurately using AutoCAD or similar software
• Ensure all survey activities are compliant with local regulations and laws
• Maintain accurate records of survey findings and results
• Assist in other related tasks as needed
