Gulf Contracting & Landscaping (GCL) invites a Land Surveyor to oversee site surveying across building and villa projects in the UAE. You will ensure accurate setting-out, leveling, and control of all structural and architectural works in line with approved drawings, specs, and authority requirements.

Requirements include a Diploma or Bachelor's in Civil Engineering or Land Surveying, 3–6 years of experience, and proficiency with Total Station, Auto Level, and GPS.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Land Surveying, or related field.
• 3–6 years of experience as a Land Surveyor in construction projects.
• Experience in building and villa projects (UAE/GCC preferred).

Responsabilités

• Carry out site surveying including setting-out, leveling, and alignment for buildings and villas.
• Establish horizontal and vertical control points.
• Set out foundations, slabs, columns, walls, beams, and grid lines.
• Perform topographic surveys and pre-construction measurements.
• Check excavation levels and finished floor levels.
• Interpret drawings for accurate execution.
• Prepare survey reports and field notes.
• Coordinate with site engineers and subcontractors to resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain coordinates and levels as per drawings.
• Operate surveying equipment (Total Station, Auto Level, GPS).
• Support handover documentation and final as-built verification.

The Land Surveyor is responsible for all site surveying activities across building and villa construction projects. The role ensures accurate setting-out, leveling, and control of structural and architectural works in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and authority requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out all site surveying works including setting-out, leveling, and alignment for building and villa projects.
• Establish and maintain horizontal and vertical control points on site.
• Set out foundations, slabs, columns, walls, beams, and structural grid lines.
• Perform topographic surveys, site verification, and pre-construction measurements.
• Check and verify excavation levels, backfilling, and finished floor levels (FFL).
• Interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings for accurate execution.
• Prepare and maintain survey reports, field notes, and as-built documentation.
• Coordinate with site engineers, consultants, and subcontractors to resolve site discrepancies.
• Ensure accuracy of coordinates, dimensions, and levels as per design drawings.
• Maintain, calibrate, and operate surveying equipment (Total Station, Auto Level, GPS).
• Support handover documentation and final as-built verification for authority approvals.

Requirements / Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Land Surveying, or related field.
• 3–6 years of experience as a Land Surveyor in construction projects.
• Strong experience in building and villa projects (UAE/GCC preferred).
• Proficiency in Total Station, Auto Level, and related surveying equipment.
• Strong ability to read and interpret construction drawings and coordinates.
• Good understanding of construction sequencing and site execution methods.
• Familiarity with UAE construction standards and authority requirements is an advantage.
