Job summary

TalentOne is seeking a Project Manager – Laboratory Applications in Abu Dhabi to oversee the implementation, enhancement, support, and optimisation of laboratory information systems, focusing on Oracle Health/Cerner PathNet. You will collaborate with laboratory, clinical, IT, and vendor teams to deliver effective LIS solutions.

The role requires leading testing, go-live activities, interfacing with EMR systems and medical devices, and ensuring policy compliance in a healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Laboratory Science, IT, Computer Science, Health Informatics, or related field.

Responsibilities

• Oversee PathNet and laboratory applications implementation, enhancement, testing, upgrades, and maintenance.
• Lead clinical process redesign, requirements gathering, planning, testing, and go-live activities.
• Coordinate laboratory users, clinical teams, IT teams, vendors, steering committees, and super-user groups.
• Support system configuration, application security, user access, and performance monitoring.
• Manage software patches, releases, upgrades, and change-control activities.
• Identify application-design issues and recommend practical solutions.
• Support interfaces between EMR systems, third-party platforms, and laboratory medical devices.
• Develop reports, dashboards, extracts, training materials, and standard operating procedures.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare policies, confidentiality, quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
