Job summary

A technology company based in Dubai seeks an experienced Kubernetes Administrator to provide platform support and client engagement. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Kubernetes, DevOps practices, and big data platforms. Responsibilities include troubleshooting platform issues, managing Docker images, and engaging with client teams for timely issue resolution. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field is required, along with strong communication skills and experience in enterprise environments.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated expertise in Kubernetes and container management.
• Knowledge of DNS concepts, proxies, and ingress/egress management.
• Experience managing big data workloads and using tools like Spark or Airflow.
• Proficient with GitLab for CI/CD and infrastructure automation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent verbal communication and client interaction skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve platform issues to maintain system stability.
• Manage service requests and incidents via a ticketing system.
• Engage with clients to discuss and resolve ongoing issues.
• Build and manage Docker images and K8S components.
• Setup virtual environments for Python projects.
• Handle S3-compatible object storage management.
