Job summary

DISCOVERED seeks a Lead DevOps Engineer to define and oversee platform engineering for a premier data and technology organization in Dubai. You will lead Kubernetes/OpenShift clusters, drive automation, and mentor teams across security, infra, and data groups.

The role requires 10+ years in engineering with 5+ years in leadership, strong automation skills (Terraform, Ansible, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions), and excellent collaboration across departments. Dubai-based, hybrid environment.

Qualifications

• Ten plus years in engineering roles with five+ years leading platform/operations teams.
• Hands-on knowledge of Kubernetes or OpenShift cluster management.
• Experience with automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.
• Knowledge of hybrid infrastructure with cloud services and local storage.
• University degree in computer science or related field.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

You will lead the design and operation of container platforms in hybrid and local environments. In addition to technical ownership, you will mentor team members and uplift overall engineering capabilities.
