Job summary

Mama Shelter Dubai is seeking a dedicated Steward to keep our kitchen, equipment, and back-of-house areas clean, safe and ready for action. You’ll be part of the Gang, supporting both Kitchen and F&B teams and helping us maintain Mama’s bright, welcoming vibe.

• Clean and sanitize crockery, kitchen equipment, and work areas to hygiene standards.
• Ensure availability of clean equipment and utensils for smooth operations.
• Operate dishwashing and cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.
• Maintain stewarding areas, kitchens, and storage clean and organized.
• Handle cleaning chemicals and tools safely following procedures.
• Support waste segregation and sustainable practices.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and safety guidelines.
• Report damaged equipment or safety hazards to supervision.
• Assist Kitchen and F&B teams during busy services.
• Contribute to a positive, welcoming workplace atmosphere.

• Keep It Spotless: Clean and sanitize crockery, cutlery, kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas to Mama's hygiene and cleanliness standards.
• Keep the Kitchen Moving: Ensure clean and sanitized equipment, utensils, and crockery are always available to support smooth kitchen and F&B operations.
• Master the Dishwashing: Operate dishwashing and cleaning equipment safely and efficiently, especially when the kitchen is buzzing.
• Own Your Space: Keep stewarding areas, kitchens, storage spaces, floors, drains, and back‑of‑house areas clean, organized, and ready for action.
• Handle with Care: Use cleaning chemicals, equipment, and tools safely and correctly, following all required procedures.
• Waste Less: Support proper waste segregation, collection, and disposal while helping Mama follow sustainable practices.
• Keep It Safe: Follow all food safety, hygiene, health, and safety standards to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
• Speak Up: Report damaged equipment, maintenance issues, safety hazards, or shortages of cleaning supplies to the Stewarding Supervisor.
• Teamwork Makes the Dream Work: Support the Kitchen and F&B teams during busy services and always be ready to lend a hand to your Gang.
