Job summary

Al Ain Rotana is seeking a passionate and dynamic Kitchen Commis III to join our culinary team in Abu Dhabi. You will support the daily mis-en-place and assist in food production across main kitchen and satellite stations.

Role requires following instructions from superiors, maintaining hygienic work areas and contributing to cost control while upholding the hotel’s high standards of quality for guests.

Qualifications

• Experience in daily mis-en-place in a busy kitchen.
• Ability to follow instructions from superiors.
• Maintain hygienic kitchen area and adhere to hotel rules.

Responsibilities

• Support the Demi Chef de Partie or Commis I in daily operations and work.
• Work according to the instructions of Superiors.
• Keep work area hygienic at all times according to hotel rules.
• Control food stock and food cost in his section.
• Prepare daily mis-en-place and food production in main kitchen or satellites.
• Follow instructions from immediate Superiors to complete daily tasks.
• Ensure highest standards and consistent quality in daily preparation.
• Coordinate with other sections on cleanliness, wastage and cost control.
