Job summary

Rixos Hotels in Ras Al Khaimah seeks a detailed Kitchen and Laundry Technician to maintain cleanliness and functionality of kitchen and laundry facilities, ensuring HACCP-compliant operations.

You will operate, clean, and maintain equipment, manage supplies, and collaborate with kitchen and housekeeping staff while adhering to health and safety regulations. Accommodation and visa support may be provided.

Responsibilities

• Operate, clean, and maintain kitchen and laundry equipment, including dishwashers, washing machines, dryers, and cooking appliances.
• Perform daily cleaning and sanitizing tasks in kitchen and laundry areas, following established procedures and schedules.
• Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and report shortages to the appropriate supervisor.
• Assist in the proper storage and organization of kitchen utensils, linens, and other supplies.
• Conduct routine inspections of equipment and report any malfunctions or maintenance needs.
• Collaborate with kitchen and housekeeping staff to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks.
• Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations and guidelines.
• Assist in training new team members on equipment operation and cleaning procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of cleaning activities, equipment maintenance, and inventory.
