Job summary

Rixos Hotels in Ras Al Khaimah, UAE is seeking a detail-oriented Kitchen and Laundry Technician to maintain cleanliness and functionality of our kitchen and laundry facilities, ensuring smooth operations and hygiene.

You will operate and maintain dishwashers, washing machines, dryers, and cooking appliances, while training new team members and coordinating with kitchen and housekeeping staff to ensure efficient workflow and compliance with health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

• Experience operating kitchen and laundry equipment.
• Knowledge of cleaning and sanitizing procedures.
• Basic maintenance and troubleshooting of hotel equipment.

Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient Kitchen and Laundry Technician to join our team in Rixos Al Mairid at Ras Al-Khaimah, United Arab Emirates. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and functionality of our kitchen and laundry facilities, ensuring smooth operations and adherence to hygiene standards.

• Operate, clean, and maintain kitchen and laundry equipment, including dishwashers, washing machines, dryers, and cooking appliances
• Perform daily cleaning and sanitizing tasks in kitchen and laundry areas, following established procedures and schedules
• Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and report shortages to the appropriate supervisor
• Assist in the proper storage and organization of kitchen utensils, linens, and other supplies
• Conduct routine inspections of equipment and report any malfunctions or maintenance needsCollaborate with kitchen and housekeeping staff to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks
• Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations and guidelines
• Assist in training new team members on equipment operation and cleaning procedures
• Maintain accurate records of cleaning activities, equipment maintenance, and inventory

Qualifications

• Proficiency in operating various kitchen and laundry equipment
• Strong knowledge of cleaning and sanitizing procedures
