Rixos Al Mairid in Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates, is seeking a detail-oriented Kitchen and Laundry Technician to maintain cleanliness and functionality of kitchen and laundry facilities. You will operate and service dishwashers, washing machines, dryers, and cooking appliances while upholding hygiene standards and safety regulations.

Responsibilities include daily cleaning, equipment inspections, inventory management, and training new staff on procedures.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in operating kitchen and laundry equipment.
• Strong knowledge of cleaning and sanitizing procedures.
• Basic maintenance and troubleshooting skills for kitchen and laundry equipment.
• Excellent time management and multitasking abilities.
• Familiarity with UAE health and safety regulations is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Operate, clean, and maintain kitchen and laundry equipment, including dishwashers, washing machines, dryers, and cooking appliances.
• Perform daily cleaning and sanitizing tasks in kitchen and laundry areas, following established procedures and schedules.
• Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies and report shortages to the appropriate supervisor.
• Assist in the proper storage and organization of kitchen utensils, linens, and other supplies.
• Conduct routine inspections of equipment and report any malfunctions or maintenance needs.
• Collaborate with kitchen and housekeeping staff to ensure efficient workflow and timely completion of tasks.
• Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations and guidelines.
• Assist in training new team members on equipment operation and cleaning procedures.
• Maintain accurate records of cleaning activities, equipment maintenance, and inventory.
